US DataVault Backup Pro will backup Exchange and SQL, which by nature are open files as long as the server is running. It will not natively backup other open/locked files, such as .pst (Outlook). If you do have many open/locked files and do need that feature, please email us at techsupport@usdatavault.com, and we will provide you with our Open File Manager Software, free of charge, that will work with our software. This is the same software we sell for £79 per desktop, and £299 per server, except that it will ONLY work with US DataVault Backup Pro, while our retail version works with ANY backup software available on the market.
