This is usually because you selected an open or locked file to backup. Though US DataVault backup Pro will backup Open and Locked Exchange and SQL, it will not do so for other files, such as .pst, word, excel, or other databases.

If you have a lot of files like that, email us at techsupport@usdatavault.com and put in 'OFM for USDV', and we will email you a link and serial number to download our Open File Manager that will allow you to backup any of these files. This is the same that we sell, except that this version will only work with our software.
