Does US DataVault Backup Pro write directly to DVD or does it have to be written to a disk file first? DVD/CD
Answer
US DataVault Backup Pro will create a cache on the local hard drive in case you are backing up directly from an FTP site. Burning requires a given throughput or else the burn operation will not succeed. The only way to guarantee this is to first cache the data to the local hard disk.
